Job summary

Temple Health in Philadelphia is seeking an Echocardiography Technologist REG- Non-Invasive Lab to perform 2-D, 3-D, Doppler and related studies under the direction of cardiology leadership. You will gather data, document findings, and report critical results to physicians.

Responsibilities include maintaining registrations, conducting various echo modalities, preparing patients, and ensuring high-quality studies while entering data in computer systems.

Qualifications

• Trade School formal training from ultrasound school with cardiovascular program required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year experience in Echocardiography preferred.
• Reg Cardiac Sonographer required or Reg Diag Cardiac Sonographer required.

• Performs various echocardiography studies under the direction of a Cardiologist, Manager, Assistant Manager and/or Lead Technologist.
• Gathers and documents appropriate data and reports critical findings to physicians.
• Maintains certification/registration with approved credentialing agencies.
• Conducts various types of echocardiograms including 2-D, 3-D, m-mode, doppler, color doppler, strain and stress echo.
• Prepares and instructs the patient, performs the study to obtain maximum quality results, cleans and maintains proper functioning of equipment, enters patient data in computer systems.
