Job summary

UF Health in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a vascular and cardiac ultrasound technologist to perform comprehensive ultrasound exams across all age groups. The role requires familiarity with echocardiography and vascular sonography, including reporting preliminary findings and critical results.

The ideal candidate will have cardiovascular sonography training, 1–2 years of hospital/clinic experience, and relevant licensure or certification with a preference for BS and Echo/Vascular credentials.

Qualifications

• Cardiovascular Sonography Program required; BS preferred.
• 1–2 years hospital/clinic/physician office experience.
• Certifications: RVT/RVS/RDCS/RCS within 1 year of hire/transfer.
• Echo and vascular licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vascular and cardiac ultrasound exams on all age groups.

Qualifications

Required Education:

Vocational Training Specific Coursework: Cardiovascular Sonography Program

• Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science

Required Licensure/Certification:

Within one (1) year of hire or transfer must have one (1) of the following certifications:

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT): Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)

Preferred Licensure/Certification: Registered in Echo and Vascular

Required Experience: 1-2 years' experience in hospital, clinic, or physician office

Necessary Skills:
