Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA is seeking an Echocardiography Technologist for a part-time, day‑shift position. The hospital is Magnet recognized and part of Providence's regionally renowned cardiac care program.

This role performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations and related tests for evaluation by attending physicians, supports pediatric and adult patients, and contributes to a multidisciplinary team dedicated to evidence-based, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification at hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association at hire.
• Experience with adult and pediatric cardiac ultrasound.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations.
• Conduct other cardiac diagnostic tests for evaluation and treatment.
• Work 8-hour day shifts on a part-time schedule.

This Echocardiography Technologist position performs diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations and other cardiac diagnostic tests for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician.

Required qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Or
• Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Experience in Adults and Pediatric Cardiac Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology.

Preferred qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Post High School specialized/technical training from an institution in cardiac ultrasound technology/non invasive cardiac procedures.
