Valora Medical Group is seeking an Echocardiogram/Vascular Technician responsible for using ultrasound equipment to visualize internal anatomy functions. Qualifications include an Associate's Degree in medical sonography and certification as a Cardiac Sonographer or Vascular Technologist. Bilingual skills and 3+ years of experience are preferred, along with reliable transportation for commuting.
We are looking for an Echocardiogram/Vascular Technician who will be responsible for using ultrasound equipment to help visualize internal anatomy functions. Duties include but are not limited to calibration and manipulation of equipment for use in appointments, noting any abnormalities, and notifying proper medical personnel. In addition to knowledge of the full anatomy, one must especially be knowledgeable in performing ultrasounds. To be successful one must have formal education and training. One must also possess strong interpersonal skills to explain procedures and facilitate a positive experience for the patient.
Currently this position would be contract starting with one to two days at our Garland, TX location. As the program expands, it will service all of our locations in the Dallas‑Fort Worth Area.
