Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, is seeking an Echo/Vascular Technician who will perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular exams under physician supervision. This role is ideal for recent graduates or those new to the field, with a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000.

The position is full-time (36 hours) with four 9's, including night/weekend/holiday call, at Lutheran Hospital. Minimum qualifications include ARDMS/CCI certification and BLS; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; education verified.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Schedule and prioritize exams; coordinate with staff and patients.
• Perform ultrasound exams per related protocols and ensure patient safety.
• Document results and apply appropriate charge codes.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and technique.
• Maintain equipment and work area; coordinate repairs/supplies.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and education opportunities.
• Communicate patient needs with physicians and care team.
