Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Echo/Vascular Technician at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO. You will perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular ultrasound exams under physician direction, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.

The role supports the clinical team, mentors staff, and participates in education to advance vascular/echo care. The schedule is full-time with 4/10s and rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree and 1+ year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Competency; demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams; coordinate with medical staff and patients.
• Prepare for exams; educate patient and family; transport patient; perform ultrasound exams.
• Identify patient needs during exam; communicate with physicians and family.
• Document exam results and apply appropriate charge codes.
• Mentor caregivers and students on equipment use and technique.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; coordinate repairs or replenishments.
• Participate in education opportunities to develop skills and knowledge.
