Job summary

Intermountain Health's Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver seeks an Echo/Vascular Technician to support the clinical team by performing diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams under physician supervision.

You'll manage exam scheduling, ensure patient safety, educate patients and families, mentor staff, and participate in quality improvement while delivering compassionate care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; degree will be verified.
• 1+ year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate technical competence for department protocols.
• Prioritize and schedule exams; coordinate with staff and patients.
• Prepare for exams, educate patients, and perform ultrasound exams.
• Document exam results and apply charge codes.
• Clean and maintain equipment and supplies; coordinate repairs.
• Support quality improvement processes and initiatives.
• Educate caregivers, fellows, and students as appropriate.
