Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to perform inpatient and outpatient adult echo and vascular studies, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, carotid duplex tests, and extremity vascular studies.

The role requires ARDMS/CCI credentials, BLS, and a minimum of one year of echo/vascular scanning experience. Work involves 40 hours weekly with on-site responsibilities across MUHA facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited formal program in echo and vascular ultrasound and/or on-the-job training in echo and vascular ultrasound.
• Additional relevant courses and/or degrees preferred.
• 1+ year of experience scanning echo and vascular preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs echo and vascular studies as required, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, contrast echocardiography, carotid duplex studies, upper/lower extremity arterial testing, upper/lower extremity venous studies, some abdominal vascular studies.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Graduate of accredited echo/vascular ultrasound program

Additional relevant courses or degrees preferred

1+ year echo/vascular scanning experience preferred
