Job summary

Gadsden Regional Medical Center is seeking an Echo/Vascular Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound and vascular imaging procedures in a PRN, variable hours schedule. The role supports patient care across departments, ensures accurate diagnostic results, and assists in scheduling and documentation within the EMR.

RDCS and RVT certifications are required or pursued, with 0-1 year of experience in echocardiography/vascular imaging preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in echocardiography and/or vascular imaging required
• RDCS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer required or in progress
• Proficiency in imaging equipment operation and patient care

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound procedures following protocols
• Operates ultrasound equipment safely and maintains cleanliness
• Documents procedures and findings in EMR
• Assists in scheduling and preparing patients for imaging
• Maintains attendance and adheres to policies
