Job summary

Roshal Imaging Services LLC in Yuma, AZ seeks a skilled Echo Technologist for PRN shifts. You will perform cardiac ultrasound procedures and communicate findings to radiologists, while delivering compassionate patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

The role requires ARDMS/RDCS, CCI/RCS Echo certification, BLS/CPR, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Prior experience with PACS/EMR is a plus, and you must pass health screenings.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of experience performing cardiac diagnostic procedures; 2+ years preferred.
• ARDMS/RDCS certification is required.
• CCI/RCS certification in Echo.
• Demonstrate professionalism and effective interpersonal skills in a diverse population.
• Ability to be self-directed and organized to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
• Must be up to date on all vaccinations as required for hospital employment and pass health screenings, including drug screening and background check.
• Must have a current BLS/CPR.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in medical diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Communicate pertinent clinical information and ultrasound findings to the radiologist.
• Provide excellent care to their patients while maintaining a good rapport and excellent service to all client hospitals and staff.
• Utilize systems such as PACS systems and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to obtain or enter appropriate care data.

Cardiac Sonographer Requirements:

• -Minimum one (1) year of experience performing cardiac diagnostic procedure and related responsibilities required. 2+ years is preferred.

Physical Effort:

• ·Must be capable of lifting 50-100 lbs, including patient lifting, positioning aids, portable ultrasound machines, and assisting with minor patient movements. Requires physical flexibility to bend, reach, twist, and adjust equipment or patients as needed.
• ·Requires prolonged standing or walking while performing scans, moving between patients, and positioning equipment. Physical endurance is essential to complete multiple consecutive scans.

Roshal’s Ultrasound and Echo Technologists perform a variety of routine and emergency ultrasound imaging and other sonographic procedures with minimal supervision, requiring independent judgment.
