Job summary

HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is seeking an Echo Technologist to perform echocardiographic exams for neonate to geriatric patients with careful, compassionate care. You will perform M-Mode, 2D, Color Flow and Doppler echocardiograms and assist with transesophageal procedures, while preparing findings for physician interpretation and maintaining clear communication with the imaging team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in Adult Echocardiography preferred.
• Current Ultrasound registry required.
• Registry within one year of hire date (RCS or RDCS).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients and equipment safely per procedures.
• Perform and process M-Mode, 2D, Color Flow and Doppler echocardiograms; assist with TEE.
• Maintain findings for physician interpretation and archiving.
• Obtain high quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
• Communicate findings and patient histories with radiologist and healthcare team.
