Job summary

MedSmart Inc. is a premier outsourced healthcare and diagnostic radiology provider in Nevada. We seek a skilled professional to perform electrocardiograms, expand examination scope with findings, and assist with transesophageal echocardiography and intravascular ultrasound.

Candidates should hold an active ARDMS certificate, current BCLS, and preferably a BS degree. Prior Ultrasound experience is preferred. Join our team delivering high-quality imaging across Nevada facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
• Active ARDMS certification in the specialty and CME compliance.
• Ultrasound experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrocardiograms per procedure.
• Expand scope of examination according to abnormalities observed.
• Assist physician with transesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography and intravascular ultrasound.
• Operate and inspect ultrasound equipment safely; report malfunctions daily.

Duties

• Ability to perform electrocardiograms per procedure.
• Ability to expand scope of examination according to any abnormalities observed.
• Ability to assist the physician with transesophageal echocardiography, stress echos and intravascular ultrasound.
• Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly. Inspects ultrasound equipment daily to ensure it is operating effectively. Reports any malfunctions.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree preferred
• Certifications: Active certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in the specialty(ies) as appropriate and current compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for specialty(ies) as appropriate
• Prefer specific experience and training in Ultrasound
• Current BCLS certification
