Job summary

Mercyhealth in Wisconsin is seeking an Echo Technologist to perform echocardiograms and Doppler studies, assisting physicians with accurate imaging and patient comfort.

You will handle routine imaging, participate in on-call coverage, educate patients, document procedures, and help maintain equipment in a 40-hour, dayshift on-site role.

CPR/BLS within 90 days and RDCS/RCS within 1 year, plus an Associate or Bachelor’s degree, are required.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree and/or Bachelor’s Degree, from an accredited program.
• Approved CPR/BLS required within 90 days.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or RDCS within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiograms per standard imaging protocol and ASE standards.
• Active work in Adult Echo/Stress/TEE/Call Coverage.
• Notifies physician of abnormal EKG readings and manages arrhythmias.
• Documents patient/procedural information in the medical record with high accuracy.
• Educates patients and families about procedures and follow‑up.
• Maintains equipment and coordinates supplies as needed.
