Job summary

Lovelace Women’s Hospital in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Pediatric Echo Tech for a variable-shift, PRN role in the pediatric ultrasound lab. The position requires completing an accredited ultrasound program and ARDMS/CCI registration, with NM licensure within a year and BLS by 14 days after hire.

The ideal candidate brings 2–5 years of pediatric echocardiography experience and strong computer skills to support accurate imaging and documentation for physicians.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program and/or ARDMS- or CCI-registered.
• Two (2) to five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in a lab performing pediatric echocardiography imaging.
• Full State of New Mexico licensure required within one year of hire.
• Must maintain licensure and national certification/registry.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing ultrasound imaging of patient’s heart for assisting physicians with the diagnosis of patient. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.
