Job summary

College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy is seeking an echocardiography technologist to perform cardiac ultrasounds for both adult and pediatric patients. You will use 2D echocardiography, color flow/Doppler, stress/contrast echo and assist with TEE, while evaluating data and reporting dangerous arrhythmias.

The ideal candidate has formal ultrasound training, an accredited credential, and at least one year of echo experience; CPR (BCLS) knowledge is required and RDCS/RCS eligibility

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Formal training in diagnostic cardiac ultrasound/cardiovascular technology required.At least 1 year ofecho experience required.
• BCLS required.
• RDCS, RCS certification or eligibilty to achieve within one year of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasounds on adult and pediatric patients using 2D echocardiography.
• Conduct echocardiography with color flow/Doppler, stress/contrast echocardiography.
• Assist with TEE when required.
• Collect and evaluate clinical data.
• Recognize and report life-threatening arrhythmias promptly.

Overview

Will be responsible for conducting cardiac ultrasounds on both adult and pediatric patients utilizing 2D echocardiography, echocardiography with color flow/doppler, stress/contrast echocardiography and TEE assist. Will be responsible for collecting and evaluating clinical data and recognizing and reporting life‑threatening arrhythmias in a timely manner.
