Job summary

Coshocton Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to perform diagnostic echocardiography and assist physicians in ultrasound procedures. You will measure cardiac structures and contribute to accurate, timely results for patient care.

This per diem position requires completion of an Echocardiogram program within 90 days, and certification in ARDMS or CCI within 90 days of hire. BCLS is also required at start and kept current.

Qualifications

• Completion of Echocardiogram program within 90 days of hire or equivalent training.
• ARDMS or CCI certification within 90 days of hire.
• BCLS certification required on hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Uses ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures and obtain measurements of valves, ventricle and left atrium; visualize blood flow.
• Assists physician with complex ultrasound procedures and promotes smooth operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department through clerical functions and information management.

Responsibilities

Uses ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle and left atrium and visualize blood flow. Assists the physician with complex ultrasound procedures. Promotes the smooth and efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department through the appropriate utilization and management of all clerical functions within the department document handling and disposition, interpersonal relationships and information gathering and dispersion.

Qualifications

• 1. Completion of Echocardiogram program within 90 days of hire or equivalent training required


• 2. Current BCLS certificate upon hire and maintain current required


• 3. Able to assist physician with TEE testing required


• 4. Previous experience in performing Echocardiograms of all ages preferred


• 5. Hospital experience in the Cardiology field preferred


• 6. Effective July 1, 2017 ARDMS or CCI Required within 90 days of hire


• 7. Proficient computer skills.
