Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking an Echo Sonographer I to perform high-quality echocardiographic exams in our accredited lab. You will follow IAC protocols, include saline and contrast studies, and ensure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout procedures.

You will verify patient identity, document findings, communicate with physicians and team members, maintain equipment and rooms, and participate in quality assurance and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience performing echocardiographic exams
• Familiarity with IAC accreditation standards and saline/contrast protocols
• Strong patient safety and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic exams using IAC protocols.
• Explain procedures to patients and verify identity.
• Accurately document and report findings in a timely manner.
• Maintain infection control standards and clean exam rooms.
• Participate in lab quality assurance and staff training.
