Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is seeking an ECHO Cardiology Tech to perform non-invasive cardiology studies including ECHO, EKG, stress tests, and TEE across adult and pediatric patients. The role is PRN with a day schedule and call responsibilities within the Cardiology department.

Must have graduation from an AMA Echocardiography Ultrasound program, and hold BLS certification along with licensure (RCS/RCIS/ARDMS) or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in non-invasive cardiology studies including ECHO, EKG, Stress testing, TEE.
• Experience with M-mode, 2-D, Color flow Doppler in adult and pediatric patients.
• BLS certification required.
• RCS / RCIS / ARDMS licensure or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop interdepartmental relations and physician relations.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a can-do attitude.
• Other duties as assigned within Cardiology department.

Job Overview

Must be proficient in non-Invasive Cardiology studies to include ECHO, EKG, Stress testing, TEE studies. Able to perform M-mode, 2-D, Color flow Doppler on cardiac neonates, pediatric and adult patients and all other duties as assigned within the Cardiology department.

General Responsibilities

• Must develop interdepartmental relations and physician relations.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and a “Can do” attitude.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA Echocardiography Ultrasound school.
• 1 Year experience in Non-Invasive Cardiology Echo, EKG, Stress, required.
• Must have adult and pediatric echo experience.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification, required.
• RCS / RCIS / RCDS, ARDMS licensure or equivalent.
• ARCS or CCI required.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.
