We are hiring a ECF CHOICES Support Coordinator Manager on our ECF CHOICES team at BCBST! In this role, you will provide statewide operational leadership and oversight for ECF CHOICES programs, ensuring high-quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, and consistent application of program policies and procedures. You will lead workforce development initiatives, support employee engagement and retention efforts, and provide performance management and staff development across the program. This position also plays a critical role in clinical oversight, operational excellence, and driving positive outcomes for ECF CHOICES members and the teams that support them. To be successful in this role, in addition to the core job requirements, you'll bring strong leadership skills, the ability to manage complex programs, and experience navigating healthcare regulations and community-based services. You will be a strong candidate for this role if you have experience working within ECF CHOICES, LTSS, TennCare or other home and community-based programs, along with a proven track record of leading teams, ensuring compliance, and driving operational performance. Note: Candidates located in the Chattanooga or Knoxville area are preferred; however, qualified candidates from other areas of Tennessee will be considered. Occasional travel throughout Tennessee is required. Experience with ECF CHOICES, LTSS TennCare, or community-based programs is strongly preferred.
Evaluate and enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of work flow, and lead performance improvement efforts to identify opportunities for improvement and to implement best practice solutions. Manage supervisory level personnel and support coordination staff, as well as hiring and ongoing training of the support coordination team. Interact, faciliteit, and establish partnerships and collaborations with internal and external stakeholder. Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to allow for tracking, trending, and monitoring of initiatives and outcomes. Facilitate gathering, analyze, and present data to comply with reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency policies, procedures, and standards through documentation review, clinical outcomes analysis, and staff education.
Education RN with a preference that such individuals also have current Certification from the Developmental Disabilities Nurses Association as a Certified Developmental Disabilities Nurse (CDDN) for RNs; or Have a bachelor’s degree in social work, nursing, education or other human service (e.g. psychology, sociology) or health care profession or other related field; Meet the federal requirements for a Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP) or Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) Experience 5 years - Supervisory experience required 3 years - Experience providing support coordination to persons receiving long-term care and/or home and community based services required Skills/Certifications Proven analytical and problem solving skills, ability to perform non-routine analytical tasks, team development, and ability to navigate complex, multi-system challenges Proven leadership abilities that promote growth and development of employees Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Demonstrated leadership skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
