Job summary

Child Care Action Council is seeking an ECEAP Teacher to lead classroom teams and deliver high-quality early learning experiences in alignment with DCYF and ECEAP standards.

You will implement Creative Curriculum, Teaching Strategies GOLD, Second Step, and maintain thorough, age-appropriate documentation while partnering with families to support each child’s growth and readiness for school.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or higher required/licensed.
• Experience with ECEAP, Head Start, or state Pre-K programs preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidential, professional relationships with families.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Use Creative Curriculum, Teaching Strategies GOLD, and Second Step consistently.
• Maintain accurate child assessment documentation and portfolios.
• Build positive, culturally responsive relationships with families.
• Lead classroom team to ensure safe, high-quality supervision.
