Job summary

Bright Horizons in San Francisco, CA is hiring Bright Horizons Teachers to work in infant, toddler, and two-year-old programs. Positions available full-time and part-time with in-person responsibilities at the SF site.

You will create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities, communicate progress with families, and maintain a safe classroom by following procedures and health guidelines. A CDA/degree path is supported with no-cost college degree options.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
• 12 ECE units completed: Child Development, Child Family Community and 2 curriculum courses; Infant/Toddler course may be required for certain positions
• College-level coursework in early childhood education, CDA, or an associate/bachelor degree in early education or related field is preferred
• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool is preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is required

• Create hands‑on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
