Job summary

CelLink is seeking a hands-on CAD Designer with strong ECAD experience to turn complex electrical designs into manufacturable products in a fast-paced startup setting.

You will bridge electrical and mechanical design, creating high-precision models for flexible circuits, harnesses, and power distribution products while collaborating with engineers to meet performance and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of CAD design experience in electronics/auto or manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks or NX); strong ECAD knowledge (Cadence Allegro, OrCAD).
  • Experience with flex circuits, wire harnesses, or PCB assemblies.
  • Understanding of electrical schematics, component placement, and routing constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Design and update 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings of FPCs, interconnects, and harness components.
  • Support electrical layout and ECAD documentation ensuring consistency between schematics and mechanical layouts.
  • Translate electrical design intent into accurate mechanical representations for manufacturing.
  • Incorporate DFM feedback to ensure manufacturability and reliability.
  • Create and maintain BOMs, fabrication drawings, and revision-controlled data packages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design and build issues.
  • Perform CAD data transfer and integration between ECAD and MCAD systems.
  • Support prototype builds, design reviews, and release processes.
