Raytheon Technologies in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the ECAD team. You will own PCB designs from concept through manufacturing, produce CCAs and schematics, and generate Gerber/ODB++ data for suppliers.

You'll use Xpedition Enterprise and BluePrint-PCB to create rigid, flex, and rigid-flex layouts while collaborating with Electrical, Mechanical, and Test teams to meet cost and producibility goals. Onsite role with relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM.
• Experience or coursework in analog or digital design.
• Ability to interpret drawings for PCBs/CCAs.

Responsibilities

• PCB designs from conception to manufacturing.
• Create PCB/CCA and schematic drawings for suppliers.
• Schematic capture, component placement, routing, and Gerber/ODB++ generation.

What You Will Do:

• Responsible for Printed Circuit Board (PCB) designs from conception to manufacturing
• Creation of the PCB, Circuit Card Assembly (CCA), and Schematic drawings for suppliers
• Schematic Capture, Component Placement, Routing of Traces, Gerber/ODB++ file creation
• Utilizing software such as Siemens: Xpedition Enterprise and DownStream Technologies: BluePrint-PCB
• Design layouts include Rigid, Flex, and Rigid-Flex assemblies
• Work designs include full designs, re-spins, drawing updates, change notices, copper changes, and process improvement projects within and outside own discipline
• Daily interface with various engineering levels along with different engineering disciplines including, but not limited to Electrical, Mechanical, Components, Test, and Producibility Engineering disciplines to ensure that the overall design requirements are captured, keeping cost, cycle time, and producibility in mind

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or in Science, Technology, or Mathematics (STEM) Experience or course work in Analog or Digital design.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Working knowledge of Analog, Digital design including DDR, specific experience with RF, Power, and mixed technology, including multi-layer designs with High Density Interconnect (HDI) technology Use of Valor NPI, Design for Manufacturing rule sets, other Design Rule Checking software Ability to understand and interpret drawings as they relate to PCBs and CCAs Familiarity with IPC 6012 & IPC 6013

Relocation Eligibility

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
