Job summary

Union County Public Schools is seeking an EC assistant to support instruction in a separate setting classroom for K-5 students with disabilities. The role requires collaboration with other adults to meet diverse instructional needs and the students’ daily living requirements, including toileting support.

Applicants must have either 48 semester hours completed or have passed the WorkKeys tests (Applied Mathematics, Workplace Documents, and Business Writing) with a minimum score of 3.

Qualifications

• Requires 48 semester hours of college coursework completed or WorkKeys scores of 3+ in Applied Mathematics, Workplace Documents, and Business Writing.
• Experience collaborating with other adults in the workplace.
• Knowledge of needs of students with disabilities and how they present in a classroom including toileting and daily living.

Job description

EC assistant needed to assist in separate setting classroom supporting instruction and the needs of K-5 students with disabilities. Interested candidates should have experience collaborating with other adults in the workplace and knowledge of the needs of students with disabilities and how they can present in a classroom setting including with toileting and daily living. Candidates for this position must be highly qualified with either 48 semester hours of college coursework completed or have passed the Workkeys Applied Mathematics, Workplace Documents, and Business Writing tests with a minimum score of 3.
