Job description

A nationally recognized law firm with 500+ attorneys providing comprehensive legal services to innovative companies from startups to global enterprises.

Role

The eBilling Coordinator plays a critical role in the finance and billing department of this law firm, ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of electronic invoices for clients.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and finalize electronic invoices in accordance with client fee agreements, including applying discounts, split-party billing, and other custom requirements.
  • Transmit e-bills through various platforms (e.g., Legal Tracker, CounselLink, eBillingHub, Collaborati, Tymetrix, or Coupa) and ensure successful submission; monitor for rejections and resolve issues promptly.
  • Onboard new clients and matters into e-billing systems, including setting up rate mappings, phase/task codes, and timekeeper approvals.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, such as short payments, denials, or delays, by coordinating with attorneys, clients, and vendors.
Qualifications
  • MUST have prior/current law firm/legal billing experience.
  • Knowledge of legal billing software such as Elite, 3E or Aderant
  • Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of the legal billing process, from time entry review to collection efforts.
Compensation

$80-110k+ depending on experience
