Job summary

Compass Health Center, LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition therapy in the Over-18 Eating Disorders Program. You will meet with patients, run groups, and coordinate care with therapists and prescribers to support nutritional rehabilitation and meal planning.

The role involves direct patient contact, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and coverage during meals to support treatment targets and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in dietetics or related field (or bachelor’s if licensed prior to 2024).
• Registered Dietitian credential required.
• State licensure/certification as required.
• 2+ years of RD experience, preferably in eating disorder treatment.
• Experience in PHP/IOP/residential or inpatient settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nutrition assessments at admission and plan care.
• Develop individualized meal plans for rehab and exposure to avoided foods.
• Set weight ranges with the treatment team and monitor medical status.
• Coordinate with nursing and prescribers to monitor status and adjust interventions.
• Revise nutrition plan as intake and targets change.
• Meet with patients to review intake and targets.
• Address food rules and avoidance behaviors.
• Support nutrition interventions including exposure planning.
• Address exercise and compensatory activity with the team.
• Prepare patients for independent eating at discharge.
