Job summary

Birch Tree Psychotherapy in Illinois is seeking a part-time eating-disorder therapist with at least 2 years of experience. The role is based in our South Barrington office with hybrid in-person and telehealth options, and potential to grow to full-time.

The successful candidate is licensed in Illinois (LCPC/LMFT/LCSW or equivalent), experienced in eating disorders, and committed to HAES and weight-inclusive care. Evening/weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Illinois license and eligibility for clinical licensure.
• At least 2 years of experience treating eating disorders.
• Commitment to HAES-aligned, weight-inclusive care.

Responsibilities

• Provide eating-disorder therapy in a hybrid private practice.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Work primarily evenings and/or weekends as caseload grows.
• Offer some virtual care from the South Barrington location.
