HDR is seeking an East Region Mining Practice Lead who is a Seller/Doer with a focus on Technical Leadership, Project Management, Program Building, Staff Growth, and Business Development. The role supports HDR’s mining clients on greenfield and brownfield projects related to permitting, design, and operations. Key responsibilities include technical leadership to guide project teams on approach, requirements, and scope, and leading projects to successful completion while monitoring status and communicating with HDR operations leadership. The position also involves expanding program service offerings within the East Region through area and national teams, as well as training and mentoring newer mining team members. Client interaction is required, along with strong verbal and written communication with clients and internal staff. The ideal candidate will have strong relationships and significant experience winning and executing mining projects in sectors such as construction materials, industrial minerals, metals, phosphates, etc. The role also includes recruiting personnel to grow the Mining Practice in the East Region and expanding service offerings and capabilities in the region.

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) Pay Transparency: $154,350 - $219,999.
