Job summary

DS Bus South LLC in Baton Rouge is hiring part-time school bus drivers and driver trainees to serve Iberville, East Baton Rouge, and Helix areas. No CDL? No problem—our in-house CDL training is provided, and no experience is required.

During training, compensation is $11.00 per hour. After training, pay is $22.50 to $24.32 per hour, DOE. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life/AD&D coverage.

Qualifications

• No CDL required; in-house CDL training provided.
• No experience required; training provided; hiring immediately.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to and from destinations on schedule.
• Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups.
• Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays.
• Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
• Interact with clients professionally and ensure the vehicle is fueled and ready.

We are currently hiring Bus Drivers and Driver Trainees to join Helix team in Baton Rouge. Our ideal candidates will live in the Baton Rouge area, work well with children, can pass a drug test and background check. Retirees, Students, Etc.: Are you looking to just work sometimes; and not every day? Ask about our "as needed" substitute driver positions.

No CDL? NO PROBLEM! We offer in-house CDL training to get you on the road and driving safely. No Experience Necessary - Training Provided - Hiring Immediately. Compensation during training is $11.00. After training, the compensation for the position is $22.50 - $24.32 DOE

• Arrive at destinations on schedule.
• Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups.
• Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays.
• Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
• Always interact with clients professionally.
• Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
• Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed.
• Keep mileage records and repair records up to date.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
