Job summary

Umatilla Electric Cooperative is seeking a Land Use Specialist to manage easements, land-use permits, and property acquisitions. You will work with engineers, attorneys, property owners, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and timely delivery of construction work packages. Strong GIS and mapping skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent required.
  • 5 years land-use/right-of-way experience or related training.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and secure easements and property interests.
  • Prepare, submit, and track land use applications with regulatory agencies.
  • Produce maps, diagrams, and reports for field operations.
  • Maintain up-to-date maps and GIS data for engineering and assets.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance for projects and documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineers, attorneys, property owners, and agencies.
