Job summary

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in natural resources or related field, GIS experience, and strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders in New York. Driving may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Management, Environmental Studies or related field.
• Knowledge of the legal and technical aspects of conservation easements.
• 3 years related experience in land conservation or natural resource management.
• Knowledge of regional agriculture and forestry.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills.
• High degree of computer literacy.
• End User experience with GIS.
• Interpersonal skills and experience working with diverse demographics.
• Must have a valid NYS driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
