Job summary

HCLTech in Plano and San Antonio, TX seeks an Earnix Architect / Specialist with 12–18 years of experience to lead pricing platforms for P&C insurance. This onsite, full-time role focuses on Earnix-based pricing, system integration with Guidewire, and governance of rate monitoring and reporting.

The candidate will collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, product, and data engineering teams to deliver analytical pricing solutions and regulatory-compliant outputs.

Qualifications

• Experience with pricing or rating platforms and Earnix for P&C.
• Proven Earnix integration with Guidewire or similar systems.
• Ability to define rate monitoring frameworks, KPIs, drift thresholds and alerts.
• Strong documentation practices for pricing rules and validation.
• Ability to perform pricing impact assessments across products/states/channels.
• Experience creating executive-level pricing performance reports.
• Ability to validate pricing models and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Proven collaboration with Actuarial, Underwriting, Product and Data Engineering teams.

Job Title: Earnix Architect / Specialist

Mandatory required skills: Earnix and Pricing Experience

Preferred/Desired skills: P&C Insurance

Must Have Skills

• Experience with pricing or rating platforms
• Strong hands‑on experience with Earnix Rating platform for P&C pricing/rating
• Proven experience integrating Earnix with Guidewire or similar platform
• Experience defining and implementing rate monitoring frameworks (KPIs, drift thresholds, alerts)
• Experience with documentation standards for pricing rules and validation
• Perform pricing impact assessments and comparative analyses across products, states, channels, and customer segments.
• Create executive‑level reports and visualizations to communicate pricing performance, rate adequacy, loss ratio trends, and business outcomes.
• Validate pricing models and reporting outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Underwriting, Product, and Data Engineering teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Strong data validation and premium reconciliation experience
• Experience defining platform operating models and decision cadence

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $107,000 per year

Pay Range Maximum: $164,000 per year

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance‑based bonuses subject to company policies.
