Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice in Waldwick, NJ. You will be at the front line, assisting pharmacists and engaging with customers to build strong patient relationships.

The role includes training through an ASHP and Department of Labor–recognized program, with certification support and opportunities to grow within Walgreens pharmaceu­tical services.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of retail experience.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience and PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in pharmacy duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Maintain a positive, distinctive Walgreens customer experience for patients.
• Help with inventory management, stocking, and clerical tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.
