Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment (preferred).
• Prior Walgreens experience (preferred).
• Good math skills for accurate counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Solid computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy systems (preferred).
• PTCB certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and patient service.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Enter patient data, fill prescriptions, verify accuracy, and support workflow.
• Handle cash register operations and assist customers to OTC products.
• Assist with inventory management and coordination of clinical services.
• Report prescription errors and adhere to quality improvement policies.
