TeachStart offers a guided pathway to the classroom through our Earn-and-Learn Fellowship, allowing you to take your first steps toward teaching with confidence. Fellows receive foundational training and then work as substitute teachers while completing credentialing requirements, with coaching and support throughout the program.

At the end of the Fellowship, we help Fellows attain full-time employment as a Lead Teacher, with a full-time wage and benefits during training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Responsibilities

• Work as substitute teachers while completing credentialing requirements.
• Receive coaching and support throughout the Fellowship.
• Lead to full-time employment as a Lead Teacher after completing the program.
