Job summary

Biomedical Research Foundation in Shreveport, LA, seeks a Nuclear Pharmacy Technician to support the preparation, compounding, dispensing, and quality control of PET radiopharmaceuticals under supervision of a licensed nuclear pharmacist.

Role demands strict adherence to FDA, NRC, DOT, DEQ, CGMP and safety protocols in a fast-paced setting. On-site replacement shift runs 2:30 AM–11:00 AM with comprehensive QA responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Pharmaceutical Tech license required.
• Pharmacy experience required.
• Aseptic processing training preferred.
• Chemistry courses and training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Radiochemistry Production: daily production of PET radiopharmaceuticals.
• Order, receive and test chemicals and supplies for production and distribution.
• First-line maintenance of chemistry modules.
