Job summary

America's Heartland Packing is hiring production employees to prepare meat using hand tools, knives, and equipment in a fast-paced setting. Starting shifts begin early, with strict adherence to safety, quality, and food safety standards.

Applicants must meet basic requirements and be able to work extended hours, Monday through Saturday, with overtime when necessary. Training includes SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, and food defense; E‑Verify may apply where required.

Qualifications

• Safety training and awareness for food production.
• Knowledge of SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, and food defense.
• Ability to work with teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools, knives, or equipment to perform job tasks.
• Work in varied temperatures and in vicinity of moving equipment with PPE.
• Handle carcass parts and related materials in a clean, safe manner.
• Stand for full shifts on hard surfaces; climb stairs or ladders as needed.
• Maintain knife sharpness to meet production standards and quality.
