Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and Mattresses is seeking a 1st Shift Distribution Associate in New York. The role involves unloading, palletizing, and moving furniture items in a warehouse environment with strict safety and accuracy standards.

The position requires teamwork, safety-conscious operation of warehouse equipment, and the ability to work early morning shifts. Compensation is hourly, with necessary PPE provided and a drug-free workplace policy in effect.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to operate required warehouse equipment safely.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as part of the job.
• Must maintain safety and housekeeping standards.

Responsabilidades

• Unload case goods, bedding and/or furniture with a two-wheel cart and assist when needed.
• Palletize product and box product when necessary.
• Operate mobile lift equipment to bin product and place in racks.
• Retrieve product from racks based on the load sheet and load trailers.
• Maintain housekeeping and pick up breakage.
• Check for damaged product and do not load damaged items.
• Interact professionally with co-workers and respond to requests.
• Meet established product rates and accuracy standards.
• Work independently and with a team; perform additional duties as assigned.
