Job summary

Casey is seeking a Light Duty Warehouse Person to support fulfillment for Casey store locations. You will pick and repack items, inspect for damage, and ensure accurate labeling and tote readiness for shipment.

The role operates Monday through Friday from 5:00am to 1:30pm, with potential overtime. Starting pay is $17.50/hour, with a possible increase to $19.25/hour after 6 months based on performance. Benefits include 401(k), health, dental, and vision insurance, and paid time away.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of warehousing methods, procedures and techniques utilized in handling and storing stock items is a plus.
• Must be 18 years of age to apply for and work in the Ankeny, Iowa warehouse.
• Functional reading, writing and numerical skills. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Work is performed in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures and close collaboration with team members.

Responsibilities

• Fills orders of nonexpendable and expendable items for shipment to Casey stores.
• Examines and identifies correct bay, shelf and slot numbers for repacking for shipment.
• Verifies order labels for description and quantity using visual check and pick system.
• Selects specified products from pick slots, inspects for damage and places items into tote containers.
• Scans tote barcodes to ensure containers are labeled with correct store numbers before shipment.
