Office Depot / ODP is seeking a Straight Truck Driver to safely deliver pallets to Office Depot locations and final mile ecommerce sites. This role blends early-morning warehouse tasks with daily delivery routes, emphasizing safety and exceptional customer service.

You will perform vehicle inspections, operate pallet jacks and liftgates, record proof of delivery, and maintain professional communication with customers while adhering to SOPs and DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Experience with palletized delivery and loading dock deliveries.
• Straight truck delivery experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; CDL may be required.
• DOT qualification requirements must be met.
• Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and liftgates.
• Experience delivering to loading docks.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate a straight truck and meet all company, DOT, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain compliance with safety standards.
• Perform early-morning warehouse activities, including sorting, verifying, and loading pallets for routes.
• Ensure all products are loaded, secured, and accounted for before departure.
• Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups to retail locations in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
• Unload pallets independently using pallet jacks and liftgates.
• Record required proof of delivery (POD) and pickup documentation using handheld devices.
• Escalate delivery or pickup issues and maintain professional customer service.
• Follow SOPs and safety policies, and identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency.
