Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hardworking individual for the role of Service Route Driver, Full-Time. The position starts at 4 am, Monday through Friday, to service client locations with loaded products and maintain refrigeration on the go.

Responsibilities include loading the vehicle, delivering to accounts, stocking merchandise, collecting payments, and ensuring equipment is cleaned and maintained. Requires a valid license (CDL not required) and ability to pass the DOT Physical.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load and properly stock the company vehicle with products for service locations.
• Drive a vehicle to transport products to client locations.
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering and inventory control for merchandise.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines as needed.
• Communicate positively with customers by eye contact and smiles.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage care of the company vehicle.
