Job summary

Canteen North America is hiring a full-time Route Driver - Utility for our Vista, CA operation. The role involves driving a company truck on a fixed route to deliver beverages and snacks, selling products, and collecting payments.

Ideal candidates will have prior delivery experience, strong customer service skills, and a valid driver's license. Training is offered, and the position starts at 3:00 am on a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and delivery experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Drives company truck along a defined route to deliver and sell products at customer locations.
• Assists Customer Service Managers with opening/closing of the operation and training of new route staff.
• Drives to deliver items such as beverages, snacks, and sundries to customer sites.
• Records cash transactions and refills bill/coin changers; handles changes.
• Contacts existing customers to ensure adequate service and informs them of new products or services.
• Prepares orders and loads the truck; selects items from stock for delivery.
• Performs routine maintenance and sanitation of machines; maintains a clean workspace.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
