Job summary

South Mountain Creamery is seeking a Production Associate to support daily dairy processing, bottling, packaging and preparation of products. You will follow food safety, sanitation and quality standards to ensure customers receive exceptional products.

The schedule for this shift is 3:00am to 11:00am and the role requires standing, lifting 50+ lbs, and working in a cold/wet production environment while adhering to GMPs.

Qualifications

• Must have a HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to stand, lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work.
• Reliability and strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in a cold/wet production environment.
• Able to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate processing, bottling, and packaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with batching, mixing, filling, labeling, and palletizing finished products
• Follow standardized recipes, production procedures, and quality control steps
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace, following GMPs and food safety guidelines
• Complete production documentation and lot tracking accurately
• Assist with changeovers, equipment wash-downs, and end-of-shift cleanup
• Communicate equipment issues, product irregularities, or safety concerns immediately
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
