Job summary

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Wichita is seeking a dependable Part-Time Breakfast Attendant to join our morning team. You will set up and maintain the Express Start breakfast area, greet guests, and ensure hot and cold items are fresh and well stocked before service begins.

This three-day-per-week schedule, including weekends, requires an early start and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment while upholding brand standards.

Qualifications

• Previous food service, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts.
• Must be available to work weekends and a consistent three-day weekly schedule.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Friendly, professional attitude with strong guest service skills.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of food safety practices preferred.
• Willingness to learn and follow Holiday Inn Express breakfast standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up the breakfast area before service begins, ensuring all food, beverages, and supplies are ready for guests.
• Prepare and serve breakfast items according to Holiday Inn Express brand standards.
• Monitor and replenish hot and cold breakfast items throughout service.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Greet guests warmly, answer questions, and assist with breakfast-related requests.
• Keep tables, counters, serving stations, and dining areas clean and organized.
• Monitor food inventory and notify management when supplies need to be ordered.
• Break down and thoroughly clean the breakfast area following service.
• Wash dishes, sanitize equipment, and properly store leftover food and supplies.
• Assist with additional cleaning and organizational tasks as assigned.
• Follow all IHG brand standards and hotel operating procedures.
