Job summary

The Marzetti Company is seeking a production teammate to operate proof boxes, ovens, slitters, and the Tunnel Oven Loader to produce bread products that meet specifications. You will adjust temperature, humidity, and bake times to achieve optimal proof and bake quality, while coordinating with mixers, dividers, moulder, and oven personnel.

Shifts run 4:00am–12:00pm, Monday through Friday, with weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with supervisor and other employees regarding dough conditions and mechanical problems.
• Must show up on time and work weekends as scheduled.
• Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift with a 30 minute lunch break.
• Must be able to transport multiple racks as needed to maintain production pace.
• Must be able to perform the essential job requirements with or without accommodation.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operates proof boxes, ovens, slitters and Tunnel Oven Loader to produce quality product in accordance with all established specifications.
• Monitors metal detector and HAACP procedures when deviations are encountered.
• Record and maintain rotation of racks through the steam box and oven process to maintain optimal proof and bake quality.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow safety procedures and GMPs.
