Catapult Learning is seeking a part-time Early Literacy Tutor (K-3) in Salem, MA. You will provide contracted instructional services in reading, mathematics, and writing with supportive curriculum and materials.

Qualifications include a 4-year degree and some work experience with children; FBI/BCI background checks are required; teaching experience is preferred. Flexible schedule, with opportunities for professional development and advancement.

• Deliver instructional methods per Company guidance and materials.
• Attend training and implement designated instructional models in reading, math, and writing.
• Develop and maintain individualized lesson plans.
• Supervise and ensure safety of students during sessions.
• Maintain student forms/files as required by authorities.
• Attend meetings with Supervisors, teachers, principals, and parents.
• Maintain inventory of educational materials.

This position will begin Fall 2026.

Tutors will provide contracted instructional services with the necessary educational expertise in reading, mathematics, and writing for students.

Responsibilities

As a tutor with Catapult Learning, you will:

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and delivers prescribed instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate efforts in providing services to students
• Communicate and conference with parents providing information on student progress
• Deliver prescribed instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company
• Attend training sessions and deliver designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills to students through the utilization of Company-designed materials and educational strategies.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students, including escorting students safely to and from sessions.
• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
• Attend and document meetings/training with Company Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
• Maintain inventory of educational materials and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate

USD $35.00 - USD $36.00 /Hr.

Light lifting, walking, climbing stairs. Most programs are in school settings.
