Job summary

Catapult Learning seeks a part-time Early Literacy Tutor (K-3) in Framingham, MA for Fall 2026. You will deliver prescribed instructional services with Catapult's proven curriculum, supporting students’ reading, mathematics, and writing skills across sessions.

You will diagnose skill deficits, coordinate with school staff and parents, maintain learner records, attend trainings, and develop individualized plans.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree and experience with children.
• Must complete FBI/BCI background check.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver instructional methods.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate services.
• Communicate with parents on progress.
• Attend trainings and deliver instructional models and strategies.
• Develop individualized, skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Supervise students during sessions and escort to/from sessions.
• Maintain student forms and files as required.
• Attend meetings with Supervisors, teachers, principals, and parents.

Overview

This part-time Early Literacy Tutor (K-3) position begins Fall 2026 in Framingham, MA. Tutors provide contracted instructional services with the necessary educational expertise in reading, mathematics, and writing for students, using Catapult Learning's proven curriculum and ongoing instructional support.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate efforts in providing services to students
• Communicate and conference with parents, providing information on student progress
• Attend training sessions and deliver designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills to students using Company-designed materials and educational strategies
• Develop and maintain individualized, skill-appropriate lesson plans
• Ensure supervision of students, including escorting students safely to and from sessions
• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies
• Attend and document meetings/training with Company Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required
• Maintain inventory of educational materials and supplies

Compensation

$35.00–$36.00 per hour, plus opportunities for professional development, advancement, and continued instructional and leadership support.
