Job summary

Ampact in Roseau, Minnesota is looking for an Early Learning Tutor to support preschoolers in their learning journey. As a tutor, you’ll enhance students' skills in a pre-kindergarten classroom, engaging them with reading, writing, and play.

The ideal candidate is reliable, fluent in English, and committed to their own growth through coaching and training. Positions run from August 2026 to June 2027, offering both full-time and part-time hours.

Join Early Learning Corps as an Early Learning Tutor and you’ll spend your days in a pre-kindergarten classroom to help students build skills and confidence. We’ll train you to deliver proven activities and coach you every step of the way!

How does it work? Partnering with a teacher, you’ll help enhance learning. Whether talking, reading, writing, singing, or playing with students, you’ll be helping them to build early literacy and math skills.With the extra attention and support, you'll make an incredible impact and help ignite a love of learning!

Essential Qualifications

By the time you begin your services with Early Learning Corps, you should be:

• Dependable and have a history of good attendance
• Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
• Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
• A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
• Able to successfully complete a background check

Schedule

We are currently hiring for the 2026-27 school year. Positions run August 2026-June 2027.

• 35 hours per week (less in weeks with holidays or school release days)
• Daytime hours (correspond with school start and end times)
• Monday - Friday (no weekends)
• Time off on holidays and school release days

Part-time positions are also available at 25 hours per week!
