Job summary

OHCAC Head Start in Ohio seeks passionate foundation builders to support young children during the critical first 2,000 days. You will work with a collaborative Early Learning team to create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for infants and preschoolers across our four counties.

Base pay starts at $18.23–$19.14 per hour, with college reimbursement, paid in-service trainings, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience in early childhood education and team-based settings.
• Ability to design and implement developmentally appropriate activities.
• Strong communication and collaboration with parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain exciting, caring, nurturing, and positive learning environments.
• Participate in a cooperative team of at least two teachers per classroom.
• Cultivate growth and development through curriculum activities indoors and outdoors.
• As a teaching team, design and implement activity plans based on assessment data.
• Engage parents through caring, professional relationships to support child development.
