We are looking for passionate and energetic individuals to join our team as part-time Teacher Assistants for our Preschool Classroom at our Early Learning Center in West Valley, NY.

PAY: $15.50 per hour

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt

JOB CONSISTS OF:

1. Collaborating with the Lead Teacher to facilitate hands-on activities aligned with the Creative Curriculum, tailored to the unique needs and interests of the children.
2. Maintaining regular communication with parents and family members through the Playground App, ensuring transparency and engagement in their child's daily experiences.
3. Cultivating positive adult-child interactions utilizing the CLASS method, fostering an environment where every child feels valued and supported.
4. Supporting the education, health, welfare, and safety of classroom members and the entire center community by adhering to ECERS/ITERS standards and protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. You're 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. While having 1 year of experience working with kiddos under 13 is awesome, it's not a must-have. We believe in potential and passion!
3. Get ready to ace a background check, including fingerprinting, references, SEL & SCR through NYS Office of Children and Family Services.
4. You've got the green light from your doctor - medically fit to rock all the job duties and free of any communicable diseases including TB.
5. You’re warm, friendly, and upbeat. Exceptional people skills are your jam, whether it's with young children, parents, or fellow team members. Plus, you're professional, reliable, and always prompt.
6. You're ready to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and basically do whatever it takes to keep up with young children!
